I’m disappointed in myself

When I fail to understand the complexity of people’s actions,

The things that they say versus the things that they mean,

Isn’t there a hidden agenda…yet to be seen?

I’m disappointed in myself

When I fail to look at the truth in the eye,

The many clues that my guardian angel drops like pearls of wisdom

And yet I deny to see…until…

One fine morning I get up & behold!

The clarity of a misty picture meets the eye

Makes me court acceptance of things that are just not meant to be!

I’m disappointed in myself

When I strive to do things right

And it is received in a wrong format.

And then the guardian angel whispers in my ear that…

This is just the beginning my dear…

There are long winding paths to traverse

Whichever you choose for better or worse,

Keep your intentions honest & pure

Everything shall fall in place…that I’m sure!

I look for my guardian angel all around me

I can feel her & hear her…but where is she?

Then a whisper ever so soft

With grace & dignity she informs

I stay right inside your heart

Watching you every time you fall,

I wipe that tear…giving you the lucidity that makes clear,

The doubts that come visiting ever so often!

I stay right here…..within you,

And make you spread the love,

That a few need more than you!
