The tag game is fun and Meera playfully pulled me into this….which brings a sigh of relief! On a more sober note, this has made me embark on a journey into the past….moments that were stolen away and stored in the recesses of the mind in a folder with an italized “my favorites”
There is such a rich collection there that it’s difficult to pull out all the goodies. And yet I try to re-live the spirit of the moment captured through my lens.

MY FAVOURITE AUTHOR IS: Many out of the few books I have read 
MY FAVOURITE POEM IS: Not a favourite but a pretty interesting one is “And because love battles” by Pablo Neruda.

MY FAVOURITE SONG IN HINDI IS: Tere liye meri sanse…mujhe tujh se pyar hai - ek ajnabi.
MY FAVOURITE BHOJPURI (Apart from the word "Vell Um"....dont know anything in Malayalam. Atleast I wont go thirsty) SONG IS: Tora nakwa ke nathuniya se khel karela, jaise nagin se sapera atkhel karela.

MY FAVOURITE SMELLS ARE: fragrance of the flowers that erupt on a mango tree before the fruits appear, Potato and chicken roasted on coal, the smell of dhoop during a puja, the smell that erupts when the rain kisses the parched earth and even the fast paced life slows down momentarily to savour the earthy smell.

MY FAVOURITE MEMORY : When I woke up and saw my dotty for the first time…her profile as she calmly slept was so cute it made me realize that the struggle was worth it.
MY FAVOURITE 'AA-HA' MOMENT IS WHEN: I potty trained my baby much before the other mothers. It is another story though that she learnt to bite into a fruit when the others had graduated eating with chopsticks.

We met & smiled a lot

So we move to different planes of destiny & succor
And become good people again
The scars run deep but a forced smile
To accommodate a friendship to celebrate the bygones.
